Terms of Service

By accessing bviconsult.com, registering for an event, completing a diagnostic (including The 7-Minute C-Suite Governance & Execution Scorecard), or engaging BVI Consult Limited ("we," "our," "us") for consulting services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

BVI Consult Limited provides strategy and execution advisory services, including but not limited to: diagnostic assessments, LinkedIn Live masterclasses and events, advisory sessions, and retainer-based consulting engagements (e.g., under our Vanguard retainer model).

You agree to use our website and diagnostic tools only for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information when registering, completing a scorecard, or submitting any form. We reserve the right to refuse access or terminate use for misuse, including fraudulent submissions or attempts to disrupt site functionality.

Diagnostic results (e.g., scorecard bands) are provided for informational and benchmarking purposes only and do not constitute formal consulting advice. Where a complimentary advisory session (e.g., a 20-minute 1-on-1) is offered based on eligibility criteria (such as order of completion), BVI Consult reserves the right to determine and modify eligibility criteria at its discretion.

Formal consulting or retainer engagements are governed by a separate signed agreement between BVI Consult Limited and the client, which will set out scope, deliverables, fees, timelines, and confidentiality terms specific to that engagement. Where any conflict exists between these Terms and a signed engagement agreement, the engagement agreement prevails for matters within its scope.

Where applicable, fees for advisory services, retainers, or programs are as set out in the relevant proposal, invoice, or engagement agreement. Payment terms, late fees, and refund conditions (if any) will be specified at the point of engagement.

All content on bviconsult.com — including diagnostic frameworks, scorecards, methodologies, written materials, and branding — is the property of BVI Consult Limited and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without prior written consent, except for your own personal or internal business reference.

Any proprietary or confidential information shared by a client during an engagement will be treated as confidential by BVI Consult Limited, and any information shared by BVI Consult Limited with a client in the course of an engagement should likewise be treated as confidential, subject to the terms of the relevant engagement agreement.

Our website, diagnostics, and general content are provided "as is" for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, we make no guarantee that diagnostic results, frameworks, or general advisory content will produce specific business outcomes. Formal recommendations and outcome-linked commitments, if any, are addressed only within a signed engagement agreement.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BVI Consult Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our website, diagnostics, or general content. Liability arising from a formal consulting engagement is governed exclusively by the terms of that engagement agreement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our website or diagnostic tools for any user who violates these Terms. Termination of a consulting or retainer engagement is governed by the relevant engagement agreement.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lagos State, Nigeria.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
